The Barton County Young Professionals group will hold a casual networking event from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 13, at the Hutchinson Clinic in Great Bend, 2715 Sixth St.
Free food and beverages will be provided while supplies last. Door prize drawings will be held at 6 p.m.
Barton County YP was created to foster business and social networking among working individuals in the Barton County area that are between the ages of 21 and 40. The organization stages leadership development luncheons, business networking and sponsored mixer events.
“Hutchinson Clinic has been excited to expand their presence in Great Bend, and they feel like the Barton County Young Professionals group is the perfect opportunity to do that,” said Andrea Bauer, YP steering committee member.
“The YP mixers are a great opportunity to network and for businesses to showcase what services and products they are providing that meet this demographic,” Bauer said.
YP began in 2011 and now has over 300 actively participating members. Along with opportunities to get involved with community service, participate in leadership seminars, the Barton County organization sets up mixers to meet new people in a fun, laid back environment.
