Barton Student Recital set for Nov. 11

Barton Community College will host a Student Recital at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 11 in the Fine Arts Auditorium. The recital is free and open to the public. Social distancing guidelines will be followed and masks will be required when patrons are out of their seats. This event will also be live-streamed via facebook.com/bartoncommunitycollege and Instagram.com/bartoncommunitycollege.  

Barton Voice Instructor Jessica Perez works with Barton’s vocal students of varied backgrounds and styles of literature. Barton vocalists are Taryn Robl of Ellinwood, Da’Vontai Robinson of Junction City, Erin Cox of Lyons, Alicia Silva Paez of Lyons, Caden Donnenwerth of Pratt and Kaitlyn Pohlman of Ellin-wood. 

Keyboard Instructor Karole Erikson works with piano and organ students. Her performing students will be Malachi Williams of Great Bend, Robert Brining of Great Bend, Sidney Cooper of Great Bend, and Great Bend High School students McKenna Cape and August Siefkes.  

Director of Instrumental Studies Dr. Luis Palacios works with instrumentalists. His performing students will be Malachi Williams of Great Bend, Corrie Upson of Larned, Logan Hammeke of Great Bend, Brook Degenhardt of Ellinwood, Juan Salinas of Ogden, Faith Whited of Garden City, and home-schooled high schooler Jossie Riddle of Great Bend.
