BCC adds trustee transparency webpage
BCC courgar-head

When the Barton Community College Board of Trustees meets at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Brandon Steinert, director of Public Relations & Marketing, will give a presentation on the college’s new Trustee Accountability and Transperency webpage. The page can be found online at http://www.bartonccc.edu/community/boardoftrustees/transparency.

The text on the page explains, “Barton Community College is committed to accountability and transparency for students, parents, faculty and staff, and taxpayers.” There are links on the page to resources such as financial reports, board meetings schedule and minutes, enrollment and certification information.
The information was available on the college website previously, but wasn’t always easy to find, Steinert said. This is a handier format.
Other items on the agenda Tuesday include athletic insurance, property insurance, the Faculty Council report, monitoring report on the Strategic Plan and an executive session for discussion of personnel.

Board meetings are in the Seminar Room, F-30 in the Fine Arts Building.
