BCC to host iPad & iPhone training course

Barton Community College will offer an iPad and iPhone training course 6:30-8 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays, Oct. 20 through Nov. 12 in the Technical Building, room T-115.
This course will cover beginner and intermediate iPad and iPhone applications and features including social media use, podcasts, taking and sharing photos. The focus will then shift to advanced apps.  The class is designed for teachers, students, business owners, employees and IT support staff.
Matt Connell will be the instructor.  He is an Assistant Technology Facilitator with the Garden City Public School District and provides various technology services to students.  Connell is also a Kansas Infinitec Coalition member providing iPad and other technology trainings around the State of Kansas. In addition to working with various school districts, Matt and his wife Anna own and operate Connell Enterprises, a full service web design firm located in Larned.
Participants will be required to use their own iPad or iPhone and should have iOS7.1 or higher installed.
