The Barton Community College Board of Trustees will formally close its program for a Corrections Certificate/Associate of Applied Science degree at Tuesday’s meeting. The meeting will start at 4 p.m. in Room F-30, on the lower level of the Fine Arts Building on campus.
As discussed earlier this month at a board study session, this is the program designed to train individuals for a career in the corrections industry. Individual courses may still be offered after the program of studies is discontinued.
Other items on the agenda are a monitoring report on regional workforce needs, strategic planning, the policy governance manual and personnel.
