Contracts for head coaches, administrators and management staff are on the agenda for Tuesday’s Barton Community College Board of Trustees meeting. Trustees will meet at 4 p.m. on May 23 in room F-30, on the lower level of the Fine Arts Building.
The Board has a recommendation to offer Elaine Simmons a contract as vice president of instruction, filling that vacancy. Her position as dean of Workforce Training and Community Education will remain open until filled.
Other items on the agenda are the renewal of the service contract with Biometric Signature ID, the proctoring and online identity verification software that is used for BartOnline courses; next year’s board meeting schedule; personnel; and a monitoring report on Barton services and regional locations.
