The renovation of two housing units into classroom space is on the agenda for the Barton Community College Board of Trustees. Trustees will meet at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 24, in Room F-30, on the lower level of the Fine Arts Building.
Renovated space at housing units 3 and 4 will become classroom space for programs such as dance, yoga, Zumba or karate in the fall 2017 semester. The board is asked to approve the sole bid for the remodeling, from Brentwood Builders for $76,000.
Other items on the agenda include the EduKan audit, strategic planning report, legislative visit update, survey results, personnel and the BCC mission statement.
