The Barton County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance with a pair of liquor store vandalism cases that occurred over the weekend, Sheriff Brian Bellendir said.  

Between Friday evening March 4 and Saturday morning at about 8 a.m., two liquor stores in Barton County were vandalized in attempted burglaries. The first occurred in the city of Great Bend and the second occurred in Hoisington. There was in excess of $1,000 damage in both attempts.

If anyone has information about this crime or any other crime, they can call crime stoppers at 620-792-1300 or 888-305-1300. “Remember we don’t want your name, just your information,” Bellendir said.
