First Assembly of God will host the second annual Benefit 5k Run/Walk for Royal Family Kids Camp at 7 a.m. on Saturday, April 4. The race will begin and end at Brit Spaugh Park on North Main Street in Great Bend. The event will benefit Royal Family Kids Camp, a summer camp for abused or neglected foster children in Kansas.
Race day registration is $30 per person and will begin at 6 a.m. in Brit Spaugh Park east of the Wetlands Aquatic Park. There is also an option to pick up race packets from 5-7 p.m. on Friday, April 3, at First Assembly of God Church, 601 Patton Road.
