The public presentation of the Barton County bike/pedestrian master plan, scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 2, at Kansas Wetlands Education Center, has been canceled to due forecasted inclement weather. The plan will soon be available on the Golden Belt Community Foundation website at goldenbeltcf.org. 

The plan will include suggested improvements for biking and walking countywide, as well as in Claflin, Ellinwood, Great Bend and Hoisington. It was a project of the Be Well Barton County coalition
