BURDETT — The annual Burdett Christmas Party scheduled Saturday is sponsored by the Frederick A. Browne American Legion, Sons of American Legion and the Ladies Auxiliary.
9 a.m. — Legion Hall, prize registration. Legion Drawings. Winners must be present to win all prizes. (Turkeys, Hams, Cash Prizes); 1st—$100, 2nd—$50, 3rd-5th—$25 gift certificate, Ellinwood. Packing. Auxiliary Drawings—1st Prize, $75, 2nd—$50, 3rd—$25, plus additional items donated by local businesses. Tickets are $1 per ticket or six tickets for $5. Tickets will also be on sale December 3. Winners do not need to be present.
10 a.m. — Legion Hall, drawings for turkeys, hams, cash prizes, every 30 minutes.
10 a.m. — Street games — Coin Scramble; Egg Toss; 3-Legged Race; Sack Race; Corn Shelling; Sponge Bob Race
11 a.m. — Luncheon — Soup, Sandwiches, Pie, Tea, Pop, Hot Chocolate, Coffee. Drinks available all day.
1 p.m. — Foos Shop, Assemble for Parade. Prizes awarded in all categories entered in the parade
9 a.m. to 2 p.m. — Senior Building. Vendors provide Cookies, Christmas décor. Photos with Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus after parade until 3:30 p.m.
