It was the kind of day that the “Cat in the Hat” liked to visit “Sally” and her brother. Cold and miserable, with nothing to do. But for many Great Bend kids, The DARE day out at the Great Bend Events Center provided a welcome outlet for pent-up energy for kids ages 3-12, with many inflatables and bounce houses for running, jumping and climbing on.
