Camp Aldrich bunkhouse on BCC agenda
BCC 50 logo

The Barton Community College Board of Trustees will discuss plans for a new bunkhouse at Camp Aldrich during the next Board Study Session, set for 4 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 14, in Room F-30 of the Fine Arts Building.

On August 8, 2018, Trails End Cabin at the Camp Aldrich Conference Center was destroyed by a fire. Since then, the college has been working with the insurance adjusters to determine a replacement value. The board will receive information about what the insurance company will pay, options for a new bunkhouse and bids submitted by three area contractors.

Other items on the agenda include oaths of office, a student testimonial, the Pharmacy Technician Program, the Corrections Consortium and the next 50th-anniversary event.
