Central Baptist Church will hold an ordination service for its pastor, Daniel Dugas, at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 20.   

Pastor Dugas began his ministry at Central Baptist on Aug. 5, 2018. He has completed meeting the standards and requirements for ordination of the American Baptist Churches of the Central Region. An ordination council of area American Baptist churches met Sunday, Oct. 6 and after interviewing Pastor Dugas recommended that Central Baptist proceed with his ordination as an American Baptist minister. 

Members of the community are invited to attend. A reception will be held after the service.
