Central Kansas Catbackers announces 2021-2022 scholarship recipients

In 2016, the Central Kansas Catbackers created a scholarship program for local students that plan to attend Kansas State University as freshmen in the fall. The committee awards five $1,000 scholarships each year.

The five recipients of the 2021-2022 Central Kansas Catbacker Scholarship are: 

• Brynn Boxberger, graduate of Great Bend High School. Brynn is the daughter of Jeff and Crystal Boxberger. Brynn plans to pursue a degree in Ag Business. 

• Cal Dunekack, graduate of Great Bend High School. Cal is the son of Tatum and Tim Brooks and Mike Dunekack. Cal plans to pursue a degree in Chemical Engineering.

• Monica Hammeke, graduate of Ellinwood High School. Monica is the daughter of Matthew and Amy Hammeke. Monica plans to pursue a degree in Chemical Engineering.

• Jayce Hildebrand, graduate of Stafford High School. Jayce is the daughter of Jason and Carrie Hildebrand. Jayce plans to pursue a degree in Agricultural Communications.

• Chase Robinso,n graduate of Hoisington High School. Chase is the son of Crista Robinson. Chase plans to pursue a degree in Biological Systems Engineering.
