The Great Bend City Council will hold a special meeting starting at 6 p.m. Thursday at the city office building, 1209 Williams. According to the meeting announcement, “an executive session is requested to discuss the employment issues currently facing the city, personnel matters of non-elected personnel.”

The council will meet in open session then recess into an initial closed session for an hour. Any action would take place once the council reconvenes in open session.
