City of Great Bend Street Department crews will be working in the 2000 block of Forest Street starting Monday with work taking approximately two days, depending on weather and material availability. They will be doing full-depth patches to resolve the sunken area in the road. 

The street will remain open but have limited accessibility.

“Please be careful and attentive when driving in this area,” Street Superintendent James Giles said. “We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and would like to thank you for your patience.”
