County Commission, City Council meet Monday

The Barton County Commission will meet Monday morning and the Great Bend City Council will meet Monday evening.

The Barton County Commission will meet at 9 a.m. Monday at the Barton County Courthouse, 1400 Main in Great Bend. The agenda includes the Central Kansas Community Corrections revised 2019 budget and its revised budget for behavioral health funding, carry-over budgets for CKCC and Juvenile Services, and appointments to the Memorial Parks Advisory Committee.

City Council holds public budget hearing Monday night

The Great Bend City Council will meet at 6 p.m. Monday at the City Office, 1209 Williams, for the public budget hearing. The agenda meeting is set to start at 6:30 p.m. and the agenda includes the approval of the budget ordinance and the rebidding of the Eighth Street project.
