Commission, council to meet Monday

 Both the Barton County Commission and the Great Bend City Council meet Monday.

The Barton County Commission will meet at 9 a.m. Monday at the Barton County Courthouse, 1400 Main in Great Bend. The agenda includes the placement of stop signs at the intersection of NW 10 Avenue with NW 130 Road and at the intersection of SW 110 Avenue with SW 70 Road, the appointment of deputy and special deputy coroners and the annual landfill engineering services agreement.

The Great Bend City Council will meet at 7:30 p.m. Monday at the City Office, 1209 Williams. The agenda includes a Memorandum of Understanding with the State Fire Marshal for participation in the Kansas Search & Rescue Response System, a report on the 2016 Hahn Brothers Supercross Shootout and the 2016 Arterial and Residential Streets Project.
