Commission, council to meet Monday

 Both the Barton County Commission and the Great Bend City Council meet Monday.

The Barton County Commission will meet at 9 a.m. Monday at the Barton County Courthouse, 1400 Main in Great Bend. The agenda includes a Golden Belt Veterans Memorial donation challenge, Barton County Young Professionals Leadercast 2016, National Association of Counties membership and the Cow Creek Watershed Working Group.

The Great Bend City Council will meet at 7:30 p.m. Monday at the City Office, 1209 Williams. The agenda includes the reorganization of the council following the recent election, improvements to the downtown band shell area and an unsafe and dangerous structure at 623 Baker.
