HOISINGTON — Due to delays in the construction process, the City of Hoisington will not be opening the municipal pool to the public until July 1. The splashpad should be able to open around the same time. Due to some of the components not arriving on time, there will not be any after-hours parties this season, according to city staff.

The proposed pool hours for this season are as follows:

Monday-Friday: Open Swim 1-5 p.m.; Adult Swim/Water Aerobics 5-6:30 p.m.; Evening Swim: 6:30-8:30 p.m.

Saturday-Sunday: Open Swim 1-7 p.m.

The splash pad will be open the same hours as the pool but it will also be available between 8 a.m. and 10 p.m. for the summer. The City anticipates closing the splash pad around Oct. 1.
