County Commission, City Council both plan Monday meetings

The Barton County Commission will meet Monday morning and the Great Bend City Council will meet Monday evening.

The Barton County Commission will meet at 9 a.m. Monday at the Barton County Courthouse, 1400 Main in Great Bend. The agenda includes a proclamation for National Bike Month, proclamation for Mental Health Awareness Month, and a report from commissioners on the Kansas County Commissioners Association Annual Conference held this past week in Junction City.

The Great Bend City Council will meet at 6:30 p.m. Monday at the City Office, 1209 Williams. The agenda includes the replacement of a pickup for the Fire Department, unsafe structures at 401 Plum and 2111 Hubbard, Eighth Street project assessment costs, and Williams and Kansas paving improvements.
