The Barton County Commission will meet Monday morning and the Great Bend City Council will meet Monday evening.

The Barton County Commission will meet at 9 a.m. Monday at the Barton County Courthouse, 1400 Main in Great Bend. The agenda includes a Severe Weather Awareness Week proclamation, a valuation update and an update on the Cheyenne Bottoms scenic overlook on K-4.

The Great Bend City Council will meet at 7:30 p.m. Monday at the City Office, 1209 Williams. The agenda includes the recognition of former Mayor Bob Parrish on his 90th birthday, the filing of city candidates by petition and the Neighborhood Revitalization public hearing.
