County Commission eyes travel policy

The Barton County Commission will meet at 9 a.m. Tuesday at the former JC Penney building, 1500 Kansas in Great Bend. The meeting will be open to the public but will also be streamed through Microsoft Teams. Citizens may view the meeting through their own sign-in or by signing in anonymously.

The agenda includes:

• Approval of appropriations.

• Approval of added /abated  escaped /refunded taxes. 

• A resolution clarifying county travel policies.

Following the agenda meeting, the following appointments are scheduled:

• 9:30 a.m. – regular business discussion with County Administrator Matt Patzner. 

• 1:30 p.m. – executive session to discuss matters of attorney /client privilege.
