County Commission wont meet this week; City Council meets Monday

The Barton County Commission not meet this week and the Great Bend City Council will meet Monday evening.

The commission had initially planned on moving its usual Monday morning meeting to Tuesday due to Martin Luther King Day, but then changed that. It will next meet at 9 a.m. Monday, Jan. 22, at the Barton County Courthouse, 1400 Main in Great Bend.  

The Great Bend City Council will meet at 7:30 p.m. Monday at the City Office, 1209 Williams. The agenda includes the governing body handbook, the water line inspection contract and a update from Community Coordinator Christina Hayes.
