A third stone of veterans’ names is ready for the Golden Belt Veterans Memorial. The Barton County Commission will hear plans for a dedication ceremony when it meets at 9 a.m. Monday at the Courthouse.

The Memorial Parks Advisory Committee has scheduled the dedication for 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 11, which is Veterans Day. Mick Lang from the Memorial Parks Advisory Committee will provide details.

Other items on Monday’s agenda include plans to attend the Kansas Association of Counties Annual Conference, where legislative issues will be discussed, on Oct. 15, and an update from County Administrator Phil Hathcock on work recently completed by county departments.
