The Kansas Highway Patrol responded to a one-vehicle crash at 1:29 p.m. Tuesday just west of Dorrance on I-70.
According to reports, a 2001 Ford Explorer driven by Oscar Alberto Mejia Romero, 34, was traveling west on I-70. The vehicle left the north edge of the roadway and Romero over-corrected. The vehicle rolled multiple times, coming to rest on its top in the north ditch.
Romero was taken to Russell County Regional Hospital for his injuries. He was wearing his seat belt.
Crash sends one to hospital
