Farm burglaries happen too often and need to be stopped, said Sheriff Brian Bellendir, spokesman for Crime Stoppers. A recent burglary occurred between 4 p.m. on Sept. 9 and 8:30 a.m. on the 10th, at a farm building in the 700 block of NE 220 Road.
Three .22 caliper rifles and a Coleman 8,000-watt generator were taken after a lock hinge was damaged to gain entrance. Loss was $1,810.
