Dead animals removed from house

The Golden Belt Humane Society removed several dead animals from the house at 2001 Holland St. in Great Bend, Saturday afternoon. Witnesses said Glenn R. Bonham — who is also listed as co-owner of the house in last year’s community appraisal guide — had not been there for some time, and a neighbor has been feeding a cat that came from the house.

Seth Orebaugh, animal control officer with the humane society, was contacted at the scene, where he confirmed that he had removed the dogs, and other dead animals: two ferrets, hamsters and tanks of fish.
