The Dominican Sisters of Peace at Great Bend celebrated the Jubilees of nine sisters who together served the Catholic community in Kansas and surrounding states for over 590 years. Sister Virginia Burgardt celebrated 75 years since her first profession. Sr. Jean Goering celebrated 70 years. Sisters Denise Mueting, Rebecca Otter, LeAnn Probst, Annette Winter and Joan Wolf all celebrated 65 years, and Sisters Eloise Hertel and Janice Thome have served 60 years. The celebration included a special Jubilee Mass and a festive dinner.
