A vehicle driven by Patton Mills of Great Bend was backing and collided with a Great Bend Police vehicle driven by Joel Hamlin at the Kwik Shop, 2334 Main, around 2:41 a.m. Saturday.
The Barton County Sheriff’s Office handled the report as an outside agency assist call. Mills was arrested and booked on charges of driving under the influence and driving while suspended, and was released after posting a $1,000 surety bond.
