Andi Rice, Duke University graduate student, has been selected as the student representative for the board of North Carolina Association of Nurse Anesthetists.
Rice will serve a one year term on the board and function as an information source that provides guidance to students and enhances communication between the student body and the objectives and philosophies of the NCANA. Rice was chosen out of the six nurse anesthesia programs in North Carolina.
Rice is the daughter of Ben and Toni Rice and a 2002 graduate of GBHS. She received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Winston Salem State University in Winston Salem, NC and will graduate with her Masters of Science in Nursing, CRNA from Duke in May 2012.
