Central Plains Middle School recognizes Kristi Weeks, Emily Ryan and Lawson Oeser as the October Students of the Month.
Kristi is the daughter of Robert and Tara Weeks.  She has two sisters, Krystal and Kara. She is involved in band and vocal. Her favorite subject in school is social studies as she enjoys learning about history and the activities they do in class.  
Mr. Wise nominated Kristi and stated, “Kristi is always ready to go for class, very friendly to everybody, listens to instructions well, and never seems to have a bad day.  In two years, I’ve never had a problem with her and enjoy having her in class.”
Emily is the daughter of Jim and Lisa Ryan and has four siblings, Michael, Janae, Devin, and Peyton. She participates in volleyball, basketball, quiz bowl, and track.  Emily enjoys PE and hanging out with her friends.
Mrs. Dewerff nominated Emily and commented, ”Emily was my nomination for student of the month because she is a student that goes above and beyond in the classroom!  She has a smile everyday and is ready to accomplish what is expected of her--never any complaining or questioning why--always on task and working.”
Lawson Oeser is the son of Jon and Jane Oeser.  He has two sisters, Lexi and Lauren.  Lawson participates in football, basketball, quiz bowl, and track.  He too enjoys PE and being with his friends.
BJ Mockerman nominated Lawson and stated, “He is a big help with Grab and Go counts in the morning and reminding students to sign up.  He continues to be a quality leader of the student body.”    Congratulations on behalf of Central Plains Middle School administration to Kristi, Emily and Lawson for being selected as the CPMS Students of the Month.
