gbtribune news

PAWNEE COUNTY — The Cliff and Nina Fell Foundation and Trust announces its 2018 scholarship recipients.
They are: Austin Gladow, Shevin Martin, Candice Peterson, Jordan Taylor.
Scholarships are awarded by a screening committee which interviews the applicants. The scholarships are awarded on the combination of academic records, financial need and references. College admission test scores are an important factor also.
The scholarships were created by Cliff and Nina Fell as part of their estate planning. The scholarship foundation came into being at the death of Nina Fell in 1994 and since that time has been giving scholarships to Pawnee County High School seniors. Each recipient receives a
$2,000, non-renewable scholarship.
Austin Gladow, the son of David and Tina Gladow, will be attending Fort Hays State University; Shevin Martin, the son of Shannon and Lynnette Martin, will be attending Cloud County Community College; Candice Peterson, the daughter of Shawn and Teresa Peterson, will be attending Fort Hays State University; Jordan Taylor, the son of Tim and Dana Taylor, will be attending Wichita State University.
