The EHS band had a good day at the league music festival on March 10 at Barton Community College. The band received First Division Ratings from all three judges at the festival. The Brass Ensemble and Clarinet Ensemble both received “I” ratings and the Saxophone received a “II” rating, missing a “I” by one point. Additionally each of the soloists from the band received First Division ratings for their solos. They were: Elizabeth Frakes, flute; Mikayla Monday, bass clarinet; Hunter Pemberton, trumpet; Katelyn Robinson, trumpet; and Rachael Dickson, marimba. Members of the brass ensemble are Katelyn Robinson, Cody Woodruff, Hunter Pemberton, Drew Blake, Cailey Carmen, Katelyn Reh, Shelby Henkle, Austin Woodruff, Keaton Goering, Steven Cortez, Avery Pike and Colby Prescott. Clarinet ensemble members are: Shaini Hughes, Slade Zamarripa, Katelyn Lefebvre, Hailey Martin, Mikayla Monday and Shelbee Miller.  Members of the Saxophone ensemble are: Katie Shafer, Sarah Frakes, Shawn Simmons, McKenna Rugan and Hunter Miller.
