Great Bend High School Regional and State piano contestants did great in their respective competitions. Regional was held at Fort Hays State University on Feb. 4. At regional those receiving II’s were: Luke Maneth, Elizabeth Gerdes and Emma Bieker; awarded I’s were Alyssa Keller, Lauren Miller, Allen To and Elizabeth Linenberger.
Those receiving I’s competed at State Feb. 18 at Wichita State University. Keller and To received II ratings, and Miller and Linenberger received I’s.
Students are taught by private piano teachers Lori Stickney, Darlene Boley and Becky Dudrey.
