Kansas Music Teachers Association held State Honors Auditions on Nov. 5, at Washburn University in Topeka. To be eligible for State Auditions, the student must first receive a “I” rating at the District Auditions which are held in October.
Amy To auditioned in Grade levels 7 & 8, Plan C. She played Allegro Scherzando by Haydn and Petite Suite by Bohmstedt. She received a “I” rating and a medal.
Allen To auditioned in Grade levels 9 & 10, Plan C. He performed Sonata by Cantallos and Sonatina, Op. 12,No.1, Mvt.l by Kabalevsky. He received a “I+” rating and a medal.
Allen and Amy are piano students of Becky Dudrey, Great Bend. Their parents are Son and Nee To of Great Bend.
