Taylor Ann Latham of Great Bend has accepted membership in the National Society of Collegiate Scholars for her commitment to the ideals of scholarship, leadership, and service. NSCS is a member of the Association of College Honor Societies. Membership is by invitation only, based on grade point average and class standing. Taylor recently completed her freshman year on the Dean’s Honor Roll with a 4.0 GPA at Kansas State University. She was elected as Vice President of College Republicans for her sophomore year and attended C-PAC in Washington, D.C. this spring. She is also organizing her second Cystic Fibrosis Walk, which will be held in Great Bend in July, in honor of her late friend, Stephen Thomas. Taylor is majoring in finance and is employed by Manhattan Housing Authority and EZ Tan. She is the daughter of Amber McCauley and Cory Latham, both of Great Bend.
