Lincoln students and staff celebrated making 2009/2010 Building Standard of Excellence in both Math and Reading on Nov. 30th.
A school-wide assembly was held at 2 p.m. The assembly started with a slide show presentation that incorporated the “Rock Band” school theme, music and pictures of every student and all the Lincoln staff. It also showed all that was done as a building to make Building Standard of Excellence in both Math and Reading. The classes cheered throughout the slide show presentation.  
Mrs. Spangenberg handed out certificates to the grades and individual students that scored in the exemplary category on the Kansas State Assessment. A school wide cheer was led in congratulating all the students for their hard work.  
Cox Communications supported the success by attending the assembly and handing out drawstring bags to all the students. Class songs were played for each grade while the students were given their bags. 
The assembly ended with a school cheer and Dairy Queen Dilly Bars for each student, provided by Lincoln PTO.
