More than 1,100 students are expected to participate in Pittsburg State University’s spring commencement exercises on May 9 and 10. Commencement exercises will be held in the Garfield Weede physical education building on the PSU campus. The College of Education and the College of Technology’s ceremonies will take place Friday evening. The College of Arts and Sciences’ departments of Art, Communication and History, Philosophy and Social Sciences will take place Saturday morning.
Local graduates are: Michael J. Suppes, Great Bend, Bachelor of Applied Science; Mark A. Hoffhines, Kanopolis. Bachelor of Science in Education; Zachary P. Johnson, Stafford, Bachelor of Science in Technology; Katelyn A. Cothran, Sterling, Bachelor of Science in Education.
