USD 428 Superintendent Brad Reed has been elected to the Kansas School Superintendents Association (KSSA) board of directors.
The announcement was made by G.A. Buie, the executive director of United School Administrators, the umbrella organization for all school administrators in Kansas.
KSSA is the state association for all school superintendents in Kansas.
The KSSA board of directors is made up of 24 Kansas superintendents who are elected by the KSSA membership to lead the association in Kansas.
“I will serve for three years on this initial term, from 2016-19,” Reed said. “This will give our district a bigger voice in educational issues that face our state. I am looking forward to serving the children of Kansas and my fellow superintendents in this capacity.”
