EHS Forensics competes Feb. 17

Members of the Ellinwood High School Forensics Team competed at Hodgeman County High School on Saturday, Feb. 17, facing tough competition from defending 3A champion Norton and 18 other schools. Ellinwood missed a 3rd-place trophy in team sweepstakes by just three points. Individual medalists included Lily Hoskins, who placed 1st in Prose Interpretation and 4th in Humorous Solo Acting. Banks Jacobs placed 4th in Impromptu Speaking and 5th in Informative Speaking. Cameran Rapp placed 4th in Informative Speaking, and Rapp and Phillip Penner placed 4th in Improvised Duet Acting. 

The team will be in action in Great Bend today.
