ELLINWOOD – The Ellinwood Public Education and Library Foundation is awarding 10 General Foundation Scholarships of $1,000, awarded to those in their first year of study. General Foundation Scholarships are awarded to seniors based on academic merit, school and community involvement, and/or financial need. Students must also have a high school GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Also awarded were the Clarence and Selma Pohlman Family Scholarship and Kimple Family Scholarship.

The 2023 General Foundation Scholarship recipients are: Bella Baker; Brittany Simpson; Jayden Keith; Cooper Bailey; Daegan Johnson; Kiley Stevenson; Madisyn Schloctermeier; Asher Miller; Samuel Brauer; and Gabriale Jacobs. The $1,000 Clarence and Selma Pohlman Family Scholarship recipient is: Lauren Knop. The $1,000 Kimple Family Scholarship recipient is: Daniel Hammeke.
