Barbara “Barb” Esfeld is currently a Republican candidate for the Barton County Commission, District 2. 

She is married to Robert Esfeld and together they have four grown children. They reside in Great Bend. 

Barb moved to Barton County in 2008 when she became the Barton County Appraiser. Prior to Barton County she served as the Russell County Appraiser for 13 years. Before that, she had been employed by the Ford County Appraiser’s Office since 1986. 

“I believe my 34 years serving taxpayers has given me the ability listen, learn and serve the taxpayers/constituents in Barton County at a different level,” Esfeld said. “If elected as County Commissioner I will do my best to represent all citizens and continue to make Barton County a great place to live.”
