Explosion reported at GTG Peterbilt

Area fire departments provided mutual aid when a building explosion/fire was reported at GTG Peterbilt, formerly Doonan Specialty Trailer, 36 NE K-156, Great Bend, at approximately 5:19 p.m. on Saturday, April 4. Emergency Medical Services also responded but it appeared there were no injuries and everyone was safely evacuated.

Great Bend Fire Department responded. Ellinwood Fire Department was asked to send an engine and tanker. Claflin and Albert departments also responded, along with Wheatland Electric.
