The Central Kansas Missions Conference will be hosted by Faith Community Church, Friday and Saturday, Pastor Sandy Kennedy announced.  The public is invited to attend tonight’s evening service at 7:30, and Saturday sessions at 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. Faith Community Church is located one mile west of 10th and Patton Road in Great Bend.
Speakers and presenters will include the Revs. Duane and Sue Kershner, founders of Roca Blanca Mission Base and directors of Victory Latin America Outreach, as well as members of the Roca Blanca worship team and ministry.  This is a great opportunity for young and old alike to learn about missions and hear how the Good News of Jesus Christ is spreading throughout the world, sponsors said.  The conference will give a glimpse of the many different facets of world missions.
The Roca Blanca Mission Base in Oaxaca, Mexico has had teams participate in their ministry from various denominations and churches in the USA.  Medical teams from both Christian and secular colleges have gone and worked with the Corban Medical Clinic.
Duane and Sue Kershner and the Roca Blanca Worship team will also be the guest ministers at Faith Community Church Worship Service at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 8.  For more information call 620-793-8084 or email faith4greatbend@gmail.com.  The church website can be found at  www.faith4greatbend.com.
