The Barton County Farm Bureau Association will be holding its 16th Farm Safety Awareness Day Wednesday, March 2, at Barton Community College in the Case IH Technical training building. Two local farmers/ranchers will share their stories about accidents while one was handling livestock and the other while working on machinery, something both of these individuals had done many times without an incident.
Farm Bureau Board Members will be present to assist the invited presenters. Morning refreshments will be served compliments of American AgCredit and lunch, compliments of High Plains Farm Credit and Bartlett Grain Company, will be provided.
Farm Safety Day will begin at 8:55 a.m. and end around 2 p.m. with door prizes.
