Great Bend fifth graders will visit the Great Bend Municipal Airport from 9:45-10:45 p.m. Friday, Oct. 6 for the 2023 Fly Kansas Air Tour. 

Included in the air show will be student engagement opportunities and aircraft displays as pilots make the first of four stops that day (Great Bend, Wellington, Hutchinson and Salina). 

This event is sponsored by the Kansas Commission on Aerospace Education, Fly Kansas and the Kansas Department of Transportation Division of Aviation. Similar events are scheduled Oct. 5-7 at airports throughout the state.
