In a place called Squirrel Lake, you’re bound to meet a nut or two. Great Bend Community Theatre’s new production takes place at a family cabin on the shores of Squirrel Lake, Wisconsin, where a family gathers for the reading of their Mother’s will. Not everyone is what they appear to be as we meet a nun and her insane brother, as well a psychic, supposedly sent by Mom from the great beyond.
The cast includes Jerry Renk as Phillip Olsen, Matt Mazouch at Patrick Olsen, Angela Meitner as Sally Olsen King, K.B. Bell as Bob King, LeAnne Delgado as Sister Mary Elizabeth Catherine Theresa, Charlie Dixon as Detective Lance Hardy, and Josie Hickey as Joy.
Karen Kline-Martin is the director and Doug Simmons is the assistant director. The stage crew includes Fiona Esfeld and Karen Neuforth, stage manager.
Josie Hickey will be making her first appearance on the Crest Theater stage with GBCT, and Matt Mazouch is returning after a 12-year absence. LeAnne Delgado has worked off-stage in past productions, but this is her first role in a GBCT production.
