Firefighters in Great Bend have a tradition of supporting the Muscular Dystrophy Association. On Friday, Aug. 29, firefighters will hold their annual MDA Boot Block, asking the public to fill their boots with donations. They will be at Walmart, both Dillons stores and True Value from 4 to 7 p.m.
Donations may also be dropped off at either fire station, 1205 Williams St. or 5851 10th St. All proceeds go to the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
